47. Jason Verrett, CB

Verrett cracking the top 50 may come as a shock to some as the oft-injured defensive back has only appeared in 25 games in his four-year career, but when healthy, the former first-round pick has flashed No.1 cornerback ability.

During his lone healthy season that saw him play in 14 games in 2015, Verrett made the Pro Bowl after posting three interceptions, and 12 passes defended. When healthy, the 27-year-old cornerback plays at a high level: Verrett has only allowed a completion on 56 percent of the passes thrown his way. Once he does allow a reception, 58.8 percent of them have gone for fewer than 10 yards.

Health is what is keeping Verrett from cashing in on a weak free agent cornerback market. Teams desperate for cornerback help like the Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, or Pittsburgh Steelers could cash in on the low-risk, high-reward signing of Verrett.
