Baltimore Orioles: OF/DH Khris Davis

The Baltimore Orioles are one of the worst teams in baseball, and this past offseason, they got rid of legendary manager Buck Showalter. As they head into their next Era of Orioles baseball, they will have to revamp the entire roster, as they have too much money wrapped up in guys that just do not perform at a high level anymore.

One of those guys is Chris Davis, who is expected to make nearly $20 million this season. Next winter, they should go out and bring in another Davis, but this time, bring in the Chris who spells his name with a K. That man is Khris Davis, who could hit oh so many home runs inside the Orioles bandbox of a stadium.

Davis is a guy who absolutely goes out and mashes the baseball, and has played a huge role in the Oakland Athletics being competitive despite having a very small payroll. Sure, the Orioles have some outstanding outfield talent on the farm in guys like Yusniel Diaz and Austin Hayes, but Davis is special, and would be a monster in the AL East.

Baltimore will have two big salaries come off the books next winter in Mark Trumbo and Andrew Cashner, two guys who earn over $20 million combined. Davis to Baltimore seems like a no-brainer, as he has the power to put up elite numbers in Oriole Park at Camden Yards, and would be a nice mentor to all the young talent that is certain to get their shots over the next five seasons.
