. Tight End. Iowa. Noah Fant. 27. player. 28

With their third, and final first round selection this April, look for the Oakland Raiders to get better on the offensive side of the ball. After pulling some big moves to bolster the offense in adding Antonio Brown, and signing left tackle Trent Brown, picking a tight end at No. 27 makes a lot of sense.

Sure, the Raiders could go out and re-sign Jared Cook, who has led the team in receiving yards the last two seasons, but there has been no news on that front up until this point. When it comes to the tight ends in this draft class, the two kids from Iowa really stand out, and Noah Fant could be available this late in round one.

Fant is a guy who can do so many things to affect the defense, including being a big-time blocker, and grabbing passes in the middle of the field. We have seen how much Derek Carr likes to rely on his tight ends, and Fant has the athletic ability to be an elite pass-catcher at the NFL level.

Of course, the Raiders are far from making moves in free agency, as they have a ton of free agents to re-sign, and plenty to go after. This is a team who could be much-improved over the unit they put on the field last season, and that would mean the world to the folks in Oakland, who could be seeing their team play their home games in the Coliseum for the last time.
