FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – June 2, 2019
High Value Guards
Players costing under $12,000
Fred VanVleet (vs GS – $8,500): Needs 31.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.2 fantasy points against Golden State. VanVleet is officially in. He will continue to get the minutes and opportunities with his defense and ability as a second creator on offense. I think it’ll be his defense that shines more in this series but minutes still leads to numbers. He’s at a good enough price to where you can easily justify taking him. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Andre Iguodala (at TOR – $9,000): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.7 fantasy points against Toronto. Iguodala is banged up but if he’s going to play, he’s still a good option because he’s the most reliable Warriors option outside of their top three. But there are plenty of red flags and some concern that he may not be able to make it through the game. That hurts his overall reliability but his ceiling remains the same. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Danny Green (vs GS – $6,500): Needs 24.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.9 fantasy points against Golden State. I had good hopes for Green because I thought he was more playable in this series due to the matchup. And that proved to be correct in Game 1. He still needs to contribute offensively, which he did in Game 1, but much like FVV the minutes and opportunities are going to be there for him. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
