DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Luka Doncic ($11,600): Luka is much too young to worry about load management. It’s Luka or Giannis on this slate, and much as with the Harden debate, most of it comes down to matchup. Tonight Luka’s matchup has the upper hand. Minnesota doesn’t defend any position very well, so Luka should have free reign to rack up another triple-double.

Spencer Dinwiddie ($8,200): Young is far too volatile to deal with at his outrageous price. It makes a lot more sense to drop down to Dinwiddie. Before you go getting crazy about price, don’t bother. He hit 5x value against a tough Miami defensive squad. Dinwiddie is going to get you your money’s worth, but he does have less upside at this price.

Honorable Mention:

Malcolm Brogdon ($7,700): Brogdon isn’t really a reach. He just doesn’t have a ton of upside for the price anymore. Brogdon is still the guy that makes the Indiana offense go. He’s a sure 35-40 DraftKings points every night with a possibility for more if the matchup is right. This is one of those nights that it is against the Thunder.

Terry Rozier ($6,500): Rozier has been fine letting Graham do what he does. Graham is the more gifted offensive player, but Rozier is a very good distributor that can still score. The emergence of Graham has taken some of the upside away, but there’s plenty of room for both of them running this offense. Rozier’s upside is capped with Graham’s strong play, but he’s still a solid DFS asset.

Markelle Fultz ($5,700): Fultz is good for a dozen shots and a handful of assists every night. I like this matchup more if Rubio is out, but I still think Fultz is underpriced regardless. He’s playing 30 minutes a night on a good team and is heavily involved in the offense. What more do you want at this price?

Dark Horse:

De’Anthony Melton ($4,600): Melton far outplayed Tyus Jones yet again even though both are splitting the minutes vacated by Morant. How much longer will that go on? Melton could have a future with this team since he can play off the ball as well. Melton has been outstanding on the glass, a good passer, and a capable scorer. He’s doing a whole lot for the low price.

George Hill ($4,100): Hill is a backup that only plays about 20 minutes, but he is still clearing 20 DraftKings points with ease for the most part. He put up a shade over 20 against this same Detroit team about ten days ago. There’s no upside with Hill, but he is a solid producer on a slate where value is kind of hard to come by.
