DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

James Harden ($13,000): Yeah, the price is ridiculous, but we have to pay it. Russ is out! Harden’s already league-leading usage rate gets much higher. Memphis is tougher up front than against the guards. Harden put up 73.5 DraftKings points in the first game against Memphis and that was with Russ in the lineup. What will he do without him?

Devin Booker ($8,200): This is a great matchup for Booker, and he’s still putting up good numbers. He was a bit of a disappointment against Charlotte, but if Rubio were to miss this game, Booker’s ceiling would go up a little bit. Still, he might hit 50 against Atlanta anyway.

Honorable Mention:

D’Angelo Russell ($7,900): Russell put up over 50 DraftKings points in his return, so he picked up right where he left off. In the last game before his return, Russell put up 52.5 DraftKings points on Dallas. There’s no reason he can’t do that again. He jumped right back into being the focal point of the offense. That’s not going to change until Curry comes back.

Lou Williams ($7,500): LouWill has at least 36 DraftKings points in each of the last seven games. He was doing this before George went down. Does that mean we can trust it to stay? Normally I would say no, but Williams put up those numbers against the Knicks, Memphis, Denver, and Utah in this streak. All of those teams are in the top half of the league in fantasy points allowed to shooting guards. So, yeah, I have no issue using him against Cleveland.

Dark Horses:

Collin Sexton ($5,800): His streak of 12 straight games of over 5x value continued last night against a Lakers team that has been tough on guards. The Clippers have what it takes to be an elite defensive team, but having George out certainly hurts that. Sexton isn’t going to draw one of their better defenders, so I wouldn’t be shocked if the streak keeps going.

Cam Reddish ($5,200): I’m only using Reddish if Young is out, and even then, it will be sparingly. Reddish does have 60.5 DraftKings points over the last two games with Trae out. Prior to that, Reddish hadn’t broken 20 DraftKings points in the month of January.
