Michigan. player. Cesar Ruiz. 2. 59. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Interior Offensive Line

Building up the offensive line doesn’t stop for the Dolphins after selecting Josh Jones. It’s important to get this group put together and gelling before Tagoavailoa gets on the field, which we discussed could potentially be in 2021. Here in the early part of the second round, Miami looks to the interior of the offensive line and selects Cesar Ruiz out of Michigan.

Ruiz is still flying under the radar, but that won’t happen for long. He is a very mobile lineman who can reach the second level with ease. Ruiz is also versatile enough to move to either guard spot, something that will intrigue teams in the draft.

59. Scouting Report. Running Back. 2. Pick Analysis. Ohio State. J.K. Dobbins. player

Another priority for the Dolphins is to find a running back to be the workhorse in their offense, and the good news is this running back class has plenty of talent to choose from. Here, they select J.K. Dobbins from Ohio State. He luckily fell to this spot in the simulator.

Dobbins brings everything Miami needs in a feature back. He runs behind his pads, and has the burst and speed to be a game changer. Dobbins also will work very well in the passing game, showing good hands and agility to separate from linebackers. Pairing him with Tua would be excellent.
