4. Jerry Jeudy, Alabama receiver

The same logic to selecting Lamb applies to Jeudy as well. He doesn’t have as much size as his Oklahoma counterpart, but he’s more polished as a route runner. That’s why he’s a slightly better fit for the Cowboys and their super-accurate quarterback.

Like Lamb, the chances of Jeudy still being available at No. 16 aren’t very high. The Cowboys should only be interested in Jeudy if he slips to their current selection. Moving up to grab him would be a mistake in terms of draft value.

Nonetheless, the Cowboys should sprint to the podium to make their choice if Jeudy is still on the board. His ability to run crisp routes and make plays after the catch would make him an excellent fit with Prescott. The idea of moving him inside to the slot as a rookie could also prove to be a match-up nightmare for opponents.

Again, wide receiver is not a position of need for Dallas. The only reason Jeudy makes the list is that his talent is too significant to ignore. In a league that thrives on creating mismatches, drafting Jeudy would give the Cowboys a weapon that opposing secondaries simply couldn’t match.
