Game of the Week: Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens

Revenge.

Last year, it was the upstart Titans knocking the Ravens out of the AFC Divisional round. Not only did Tennessee win as a double-digit underdog, but did so by running out a proud Ravens defense behind hard-charging back Derrick Henry. Not something that will sit well with Baltimore.

Tennessee is coming off a magical season that saw the Titans go from 2-4 and dead in the water with Marcus Mariota to the AFC Championship Game with Ryan Tannehill. Now, Tannehill is facing the pressure of a $118 million deal to live up to. Although the Titans did lose a few pieces, it’s an ascending team looking to make another run deep into January.

If Tennessee wants to live up to expectations, beating the Ravens would be a fine way to start. The Titans don’t need this game, but taking it at midseason would be a huge lift in what figures to be a tight AFC South.

For Baltimore, this is about taking care of business and home and sending the following message: it won’t be as easy this time around.
