NFL Week 4 Fantasy POV: Overrated and underrated at each position
Surefire Starters at Running Back
- Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints running back, is fantasy football’s leading scorer with 106.8 points. (Russell Wilson is 4.8 points behind Kamara with 102 points.) He has 6 touchdowns – 3 as a rusher and 3 as a pass receiver – and leads all running backs with 438 total yards. He should be good for at least 30 fantasy points against the Detroit Lions.
- Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers running back, is becoming recognized as the other “Aaron” who is an offensive star on the Packers. In weeek 2 he shined with 45 fantasy points against the Lions. Last week was more of an aerial show led by Green Bay quarerback Aaron Rodgers. Jones should matc his 26 point-per-game average against Atlanta..
- Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys running back, is right behind Kamara and Jones as the No. 3 fantasy football running back. Elliott seems primed to rebound from a poor performance against Seattle in week 3.
Riding the Bench
- Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans running back, won’t be playing this weekend due to COVID-19. The game with Pittsburgh has been postponed.
- James Connor, . Pittsburgh Steelers running back. won’t be playing this weekend due to COVID-19. The game with Tennessee has been postponed.
Underrated
- James Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars running back, has been steadily climbing up the rushing ranks, His best effort so far was a 30.9-point performance in week 3 against Miami. Robinson carried the ball 11 times for 46 yards and 2 touchdowns plus caught 6 passes for 93 yards.
Overrated
- Kenyan Drake, Arizona Cardinals running back, seems to be headed in the wrong direction. While Robinson of Jacksonville seems is ascending, Drake is descending in the rushing ranks. His 8.9 fantasy points against an average Detroit rush defense in week 3 was a mJOR disappointment.
Sleeper RB of the Week
- Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers running back, has become a formidable back because he is able to get lots of yards after a catch. In Week 3, he was targeted 11 times and not only cough all 11passes but also ran one reception in for a touchdown. With Justin Herbert as the Chargers quarterback, look for Ekeler to be targeted 10-15 times per game and be utilized more as a receiver and less as a rushing running back.
