NFL Week 4 Fantasy POV: Overrated and underrated at each position
Some picks bear repeating. Surefire starters from week 3 that should start again in week 4 include quarterback Russell Wilson, running back Alvin Kamara and tight end Travis Kelce. DeAndre Hopkins has been bumped from the top spot at wide receiver by Calvin Ridley for week 4 of the NFL fantasy football season.
Each of these players is among the leading scorers at his position, so let’s start the fantasy football point-of-view (POV) for this weeked with the quarterbacks.
Surefire Starters at Quarterback
- Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks quarterback, has thrown 14 touchdown passes and one interception. No other quarterback in the NFL can match that TDs-to-interceptions ratio. Wilson and his teammates face the No. 31 defense in the NFL in the Miami Dolphins. Expect at least 30 fantasy football points from Wilson.
- Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills quarterback, improves each week as an NFL quarterback. In week 3, he was 24 of 31 for 311 yards and 4 touchdown passes as Buffalo beath the Rams, 35-32.
Riding the Bench
- Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings quarterback, has more interceptions (6) than touchdown passes (5). Though he threw 2 interceptions in week 3, Cousins had 3 touichdown passes in the Vikings’ 31-30 loss to the TItans.
- Dwayne Haskins, Washington Football Team quarterback, turned the ball over 4 times against the Cleveland Browns. His touchdown-to-interceptions ratio is 4 to 3 with all of interceptions occuring in the week 3 loss to the Browns.
Underrated
- Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers quarterback, is showing his age. Aaron Rodgers cannot work with head coach Matt LaFleur. Aaron Rodgers has only one great wide receivers (Davante Adams) to catch the football. All of these statements are false. Rodgers is No. 6 in passing yards with 887 snf has thrown 9 touchdown passes. LaFleur and Rodgers both want to win and their Packers are 3-0. As for wide receivers, Allen Lazard is the Packers leading receiver with 52.1 fantasy points with Davante Adams just 4 points behind him.
Overrated
- Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals quarterback, was supposed to take advantage of the soft Detroit Lions secondary in week 3. Instead, he threw 3 interceptions that the Lions converted into 10 points. Murray has now scored 4 touchdowns, thrown 4 touchdown passes and had 5 passes intercepted. Hopefully, he can rebound in Carolina Sunday afternoon.
Sleeper QB of the Week
- Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback, has maintained his composure, while faciing a defensive onslaught as the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL draft. He has shown comisistent improvement and faces a Jaguar secondary that has given up 6 passing touchdowns in the last 2 games.
