4. Denzel Mims/Breshad Perriman, New York Jets

I know, I know, it feels wrong to cite one Jets’ wide receiver as a fantasy add. Not only that, I’m recommending two to technically make this list six instead of five. But hear me out.

In Week 12 against the Miami Dolphins, Mims had four catches for 67 yards (on eight targets). The rookie out Baylor has more than 60 yards (and double-digit PPR fantasy points) in three straight games, and he has at least seven targets in four of the five games he has played.

Against the Dolphins last Sunday, Perriman had four catches for 79 yards on eight targets. He scored three touchdowns in the two games prior to that, and he has at least seven targets in two of the last three. He has topped 50 yards in three straight, and in four of his last five.

From Week 13-Week 16, the Jets will face the Las Vegas Raiders (Week 13), Seattle Seahawks (Week 14) and Cleveland Browns (Week 16). The Seahawks and Browns are bottom-10 fantasy defenses against wide receivers, and the Raiders are in the bottom half of the league against the position. Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams is a very tough matchup, but there’s volume potential there for the Jets’ passing game.

The Jets are sure to be trailing in games and throwing plenty. Mims and Perriman are both on an upward trend. They won’t win you a fantasy title on their own, but trying to fill the Fuller void at this point means it’s hard to be choosy. Don’t overlook the Jets’ duo just because they’re on a bad team.
