31. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 2. player. New York Giants. NFC East.

Would the New York Giants be willing to give up on Joe Judge after one year? At one point, maybe. Now, the Giants are looking like the front-runners of the dreadful NFC East, keeping the long-term verdict still out on Judge and very much under the microscope.

One name that could be looking for new work soon is offensive coordinator Jason Garrett. According to multiple reports earlier this season, Garrett has been in the middle of friction with the coaching staff all season while working with Daniel Jones. If Jones is the guy to build around, they have to find someone who could bring out the best of the second-year signal-caller.

Lynn has helped Justin Herbert slowly become the next great young quarterback in the NFL. The Oregon product has thrown for 300-plus yards six different times this year, while his average QBR rating hovers around 94.2. Jones’ QBR has been over Herbert’s average just twice in 2020.

In a passing league, having a coordinator that can help quarterbacks be successful at every level of the field is essential. No matter his record, Lynn deserves a chance to correct Jones and call the shots on an offense.
