OC. Kansas City Chiefs. 1. 124. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Eric Bieniemy. player

Bieniemy is by no means a perfect candidate, as his run-ins with the law and performance as an offensive coordinator in college, the last time he was given complete autonomy with regards to calling plays on offense, remains a mixed bag. However, what can’t be argued is the fact that he has played an instrumental role in developing Patrick Mahomes, finding suitable weapons for him, and helping the Chiefs win Super Bowl LIV. Bieniemy has paid his dues in Kansas City, and the idea of pairing him with GM John Dorsey could be attractive for Blank, as the Falcons also parted ways with Thomas Dimitroff.

Bieniemy paired with Ryan and the lethal receiving corps of Julio Jones, Russell Gage, and the rapidly improving Calvin Ridley could help the Falcons have one of the most explosive passing attacks in the league, if not the outright best. They haven’t been able to run the ball as well as Koetter hoped they would, but who better to get this area moving in the right direction than a former NFL running back and running backs coach in Bieniemy? The best win-now move, from a hiring perspective, would be to bring Bieniemy on board.

Will the Texans get Bieniemy before Atlanta?. dark. Next
