Pick Analysis. 2 . WR. Denver Broncos. Tim Patrick . player. Scouting Report. 45

Tim Patrick might return if the team is willing to re-sign him as a restricted free agent. The 27-year-old shined as a part-time starter this year, hauling in 51 catches for 742 yards and five touchdowns.

Teams are always in the need for wide receivers, and Patrick has proven he would be a worthy second option on a different roster. If someone were to offer him a deal, the Broncos would either have to match it or let him walk. Right now, what’s the reason to match the offer?

Patrick is good, but he saw significant snaps due to Courtland Sutton’s torn ACL in Week 2. Two rookies were expected to be the go-to weapons and Jeudy suffered multiple drops while Hamler was limited in the slot. A year under their belt and a healthy Sutton means receiver isn’t a giant need.

Patrick would love to be back, but it’s just not plausible for the offers he’ll get on the market.
