The New Orleans Saints only continue to be robbed in the playoffs.

Two things that go together: the New Orleans Saints and robbed opportunities. In the NFC Wild Card Round, things were no different.

With just under five minutes remaining in the second quarter, Mitchell Trubisky targeted David Montgomery for the first down. The second-year running back was met at the line by P.J. Williams who knocked the ball loose.

Malcolm Jenkins took it back for a touchdown, giving New Orleans a 14-3 lead. Until the refs said it wasn’t a catch.

It only took a handful of seconds for Saints’ fans to blow up on Twitter on yet another missed call.

The Saints once again are screwed out of a play in their favor

Sometimes, people have to reach for facts that are happening in normal life.

Others believe that the referees were actually correct on the play. That won’t sit well down in the Bayou.

Others believe that the refs are actually trying to convey a positive outlook for the Saints after three years of madness.

The name in headline says it all.

Ultimately, it was too close to call for either side.

In a game this close, the Bears will have their chance to pick up a victory following receiving the ball in the second half. Brees’ inconsistencies passing downfield could be a problem for New Orleans passing attack.

Meanwhile, Trusbisky had a touchdown if not a dropped pass from Javon Wims in the end zone. If the second half is as crazy as the first, the Saints could be marching to another disappointing game.
