Scouting Report. NFC North. . player. 49. Pick Analysis. Green Bay Packers. 3

How many times have you heard this before; Aaron Rodgers needs more weapons. Even with a cheap shot band of misfits (minus Davante Adams), the 37-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback put together an MVP-caliber season and grabbed the No.1 seed in the NFC.

Let’s put this into perspective for a second: Rodgers had more touchdowns than the Packers had punts all year long.

Should Green Bay consider adding a receiver? If they plan to keep passing on one in the draft, yes. Adams soon will be triple-covered by opponents and neither Allen Lazard nor Marques Valdes-Scantling will be able to produce as the top No. 2 option. Robinson, though perhaps a little costly, certainly can live up to the hype.

Pairing two of the more complete receivers in the division seems unfair. Then again, Rodgers’ contract has an out after next season and the team might be looking to start fresh. If they commit to fixing the defense in the draft, a signing of Robinson’s potential makes sense.

Even if they draft a receiver, how could they pass on this 1-2 combination?
