Star Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams is fired up for the huge Week 17 showdown against the Chicago Bears.

If you’re a Green Bay Packers fan, it’s quite simply impossible to not love star wide receiver Davante Adams. The speedster is having an unreal campaign for the Packers catching the ball from Aaron Rodgers, as he’s solidified himself as one of the best wideouts in the game.

Come Sunday, Adams will look to have another monster game for Green Bay. Heading into things, he understands just how important this matchup is for the Packers, as the team is looking to secure the No. 1 seed in the NFC for the postseason. The fact that they’re taking on their hated rivals only makes things even more intriguing.

Davante Adams has called Sunday’s tilt with Chicago the biggest game of the year

“It’s the biggest game of the year,” Adams said. “We obviously know what’s in front of us. We control our own destiny as far as staying at that No. 1 spot. It’s a familiar opponent, so we’ve just got to make sure we’re locked in. Like I’ve stated before with them (Bears), it’s not the record they would have dreamt of having, but they’re back is against the wall. It’s put up or shut up for them.”

For the Bears (8-7), they indeed must come out on top against the Packers on Sunday to sneak into the postseason. Adams and the rest of the Packers understand this, which is why they’re not taking them lightly whatsoever despite entering play with a 12-3 record.

A loss could be catastrophic for the Packers, with the Saints and Seahawks both at 11-4 and hoping to snatch the No. 1 seed away from Green Bay. Adams, Rodgers and the rest of the gang will be ready to do everything possible to make sure that doesn’t happen.
