Social media is at it again after Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather, accusing Paul of being knocked out early on in the fight.

Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul fought a full eight rounds in Miami, with the fight being considered a draw due to the bout not being commissioned.

This didn’t stop conspiracy theories running rampant after fans watched the fight, including Paul appearing to go limp from a massive right hook by Mayweather that many thinks should’ve ended the fight. The referee allowed the action to continue after Paul and Mayweather grappled on the ropes.

It all started with Paul’s brother, Jake tweeted in support of Logan’s efforts in the boxing ring, even going as far as to name him the winner of the exhibition.

“50-1, holy f**k, my brother just beat Floyd Mayweather!” Jake tweeted after the bout.

Fans quickly responded to Jake’s tweet disputing the claim that his brother won the fight, but one reply, in particular, made the conversation really take off. It all started when acTwitter user posted a clip from the fight with Paul appearing to wobble badly after suffering a right hook from Mayweather’s advance.

As of Monday morning, the tweet has accumulated over 14,000 likes including a plethora of fans agreeing with the sentiment that the fight should’ve been stopped.

No official winner was announced between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul

Paul vs. Mayweather ended with no official decision announced as to who won the fight. This was largely due to the Florida State Boxing Commission declining to sanction the fight, citing the massive height and weight difference between the two boxers. Paul and Mayweather weighed in before the fight with a 40-pound difference in size.

After the fight, both Paul and Mayweather showed great respect for one another after weeks of back-and-forth in-person and on social media. Paul went as far as alluding to a possible rematch with Mayweather in the future after he’s able to improve his skills in the ring.

Mayweather praised Paul’s fight prowess and said that he was surprised with his competitive nature and technique.

The fact that there wasn’t an official winner announced after the fight leads fans to debate and argue as to who got the upper hand in the bout. Most feel that Mayweather won a good chunk of the rounds, but some feel that the fight should’ve ended earlier Paul appeared completely out of it.

The debate of Paul vs. Mayweather will continue for months and years to come, and the latest conspiracy theory fuels the fire behind the discussion.
