PSG still have their eye on Paul Pogba despite failing to come for the Manchester United midfielder this summer. And they’re ready to make him a huge offer.

Manchester United may have survived this summer without having to give up Paul Pogba, but his options to leave on a free transfer next year are only growing.

Paris Saint-Germain are one of the chief rivals to bring in the world-class midfielder, along with Real Madrid and Barcelona.

However, PSG may be the biggest threat of all since they’re willing to offer Pogba a contract worth €600,000 per week ($706,000), according to Miguel Delaney of The Independent.

Even though they’ve committed vast sums to Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, the French club apparently wants to ensure they have “a core of Parisian locals alongside the global stars.”

The fact that they can sign Pogba without paying a transfer fee likely took the pressure off pursuing him this year. Next year, they’ll be in a purely financial battle with Real Madrid and Barcelona, who are not in a great position when it comes to money at the moment.

That figure suggested by Delaney could very well be an offer Pogba can’t refuse, especially if the Spanish clubs aren’t in a position to give him nearly as much.

Pogba’s value has fluctuated during his time at Manchester United, but the midfielder who turned up for their season opener against Leeds United sure looked worth three-quarters of a million dollars per week. He set up four goals while running the show for the Red Devils.

Of course, Manchester United will hope to have a say in all this. They are still trying to entice Pogba to accept an extension to keep him in England.
