College football upset picks Championship Week No. 2: Oklahoma State

Rank: 5 | Opponent: vs. Baylor +5 | Time: Saturday, Dec. 4, 12 p.m. ET

Oklahoma State is on the cusp of the College Football Playoff. They were No. 5 in the penultimate rankings. They have a chance to win the Big 12 Championship Game for the first time. Oklahoma State won the conference championship in 2011, but they didn’t have a championship game this season.

Standing in their way is Baylor. The Bears have been here before, as they’ve taken out Oklahoma and Iowa State when they were assumed as the two top teams in this division. They did struggle against Oklahoma State, losing 24-14.

The Bears were losing for most of the game, but they made it close in the fourth quarter. Gerry Bohanon’s one-yard run made the game 17-14 before a late touchdown by the Cowboys gave them breathing room.

Bohanon is still a question mark with a hamstring injury, but Baylor has been keeping its head above water without him.
