The Green Bay Packers quarterback — for now, at least — sat with a couple elderly fans of his at the 2022 Annexus Pro-Am.

This came just days after the Packers quarterback was seen interacting with a couple Denver Broncos fans, who cheered him on to play for their team next season. All in all, it seems Rodgers just wants the attention which, given this is a Pro-Am golf tournament, makes a lot of sense.

The 2022 Annexus Pro-Am in Scottsdale takes place near a retirement home. Two friends in that home for the elderly, Marlowe Sorensen, 84, and Sandy Bing, 79, came to watch Rodgers play. Both were Packers fans and decked out in gear, so Rodgers went to have a chat with them after his round.

Packers: Aaron Rodgers makes memories with lifelong fans

“He said to someone ‘I don’t need to putt; I gotta see my ladies,'” Bing told Rob Hernandez of Wisconsin Golf. “He asked our names, he shook our hands.”

“He wanted to know where we were from,” Sorensen said in the same interview. “I was this close to him. I could have scrubbed his little beard.”

The moment made the big time, even deserving a post on the retirement community’s facebook page:

"“A true sportsman and gentleman, Green Bay Packer quarterback, Aaron Rodgers couldn’t resist the charm of our Maravilla Ladies. Mr. Rodgers took a break from golfing at the Waste Management Open to relax with Marlowe and Sandy. After a few photos and some great conversation, he was back on the course and Sandy and Marlowe had an epic story for all the Packers fans at Maravilla!”"

It’s unknown if Rodgers will remain a Packer long-term, but even if he’s shipped to Denver or elsewhere, he’ll go into the Hall as a member of the Green Bay franchise. It’s where he was drafted, where he won a Super Bowl and inevitably where he’ll be immortalized.
