Erling Haaland transfer to Manchester City reportedly a ‘done deal’
Erling Haaland’s move to Manchester City is reportedly a “done deal.” The top Norwegian striker is among the best players in the world.
Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland’s days in Germany are done after The Athletic UK reported Monday that the Norwegian star is headed to Manchester City.
The sports site called the move a “done deal” that is likely to be confirmed sometime this week.
The 21-year-old Norwegian striker has scored 21 goals in 23 Bundesliga matches, making him one of the most prolific scorers to emerge from Europe the past few years.

Manchester City rumors: Erling Haaland headed to EPL
Haaland joined Borussia Dortmund in 2020 after gaining attention for his exploits at Red Bull Salzburg during the 2019-20 season. Haaland has also scored 85 goals in 88 matches for Dortmund during his time there. In addition, he has also played for Norway’s senior team since 2019, scoring 15 goals in 17 appearances.
Sky Sports reported that Haaland had recently informed Dortmund that he will leave the club at the end of the season, the first step in making the transfer possible.
Haaland’s pending arrival at Man City would give the team an offensive boost. Under Pep Guardiola, Man City has won plenty of silverware, but the addition of Haaland could be what they need offensively in order to win the Champions League.
Man City were eliminated last week in the Champions League semifinals by Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The potential move will be the first of many as the domestic season ends across Europe in the coming weeks and the transfer season heats up over the summer.
