Big Ten — Ohio State vs. Wisconsin

The Buckeyes are equipped to run through the Big Ten this year, though an opener against Notre Dame, road trips to Michigan State and Penn State and a regular-season finale against Michigan will make sure Ryan Day’s team faces a few tests.

The Wolverines could certainly spoil Ohio State’s fun in the East Division but betting against the Buckeyes right now doesn’t fly. Michigan has lost some huge figures on defense and those holes can’t just be plugged by anyone.

The West is Wisconsin’s for the taking and it’s not particularly close with Iowa looking like the biggest competition for the Badgers.

Realistically, the regular-season battle between Ohio State and Michigan will determine the Big Ten crown, not the conference title game. Whoever faces Wisconsin should come home with the trophy.

Winner: Ohio State
