See Gennadiy Golovkin make his way to the ring before his super middleweight championship trilogy bout with Canelo Alvarez.
Gennadiy Golovkin fully embraced his role as a boxing heel in front of a very pro-Canelo Alvarez crowd in Las Vegas.
As he got ready to enter for what is supposed to be the final chapter of his and Alvarez’s rivalry, the lights in the T-Mobile Arena went down and a hype video played.

The video made reference to how Alvarez is the only one to leave blemishes on what would be an otherwise perfect record for GGG, with one fight ending in a controversial split draw and the other a majority decision loss.
“No more excuses,” the hype video said before the video took shots at Alvarez, claiming the Mexican-born superstar was running from GGG and making excuses by jumping up in weight and vacating championships in an attempt to avoid a trilogy bout.
The video also took a shot at a failed drug test Alvarez had in 2018, which forced a postponement of their second fight.
Then, to the tune of “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes, GGG made his way to the ring with a sprint, not wanting to waste any unnecessary time before the big bout.
