2. Devin Bush, LB

Back in 2019, the Steelers made an uncharacteristic move to trade up in the first round of the NFL Draft. They used the pick on Michigan linebacker Devin Bush. In that draft class, Bush was among the top prospects at his position, alongside Devin White out of LSU.

Bush had a promising start to his career, finishing third in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting. But he has not lived up to the hype since.

Against the Bills on Sunday, Bush looked out of place on numerous plays. One play was Bush having a clear lane to sack Allen, but ran completely past him. That allowed Allen to scramble for a first down. Then, there was him getting behind tight end Quintin Morris in coverage, where he actually held onto the back of his shirt.

The Steelers declined Bush’s fifth-year option, and he is set to become a free agent at seasons end.
