Predicting the best free agent the Tennessee Titans will sign: Tremaine Edmunds, LB

Entering the final two weeks of the season, the Titans’ defense had a total of 17 names either on injured reserve or with the label “out.” You could name any position on defense and it would make sense as a need for this team in 2023.

The Titans could really use another leader on this unit, and 24-year-old linebacker Tremaine Edmunds would be about as good a find as the Titans could make this spring.

The 2-time Pro Bowler has been fairly reliable for his five years in the league and has only missed a total of eight games in those seasons.  Edmunds has tallied over 100 tackles in every season he’s played as a pro, as well, giving Tennessee a model of consistency.

Tennessee has a total of three linebackers entering free agency this year between David Long, Joe Jones and Dylan Cole. They’ll need bodies, at the very least, but in Edmunds they get a true cornerstone piece to continue building the defense.
