Tom Brady domino effect: What Dolphins signing would mean for Patriots, Chiefs, and Tua
By Josh Wilson
Tom Brady, un-retiring a second time? While it feels far-fetched, some with intel in the NFL think it’s possible. Here’s what it would impact.
Are we… are we really doing this whole thing again? On Monday, it was rumored that Tom Brady changing his mind after announcing his retirement could happen again this offseason.
This rumor came with some specifics, too: If he comes back, Brady is leaning toward the Miami Dolphins.
For Miami, that would be sweet. It would make their lost draft pick in the first round worth it after all, since Miami lost that pick in part because they were found to have tampered with both Brady and head coach Sean Payton.
This would dramatically shift not only the offseason, but the entire power dynamic within the NFL. Though he looked like a shell of himself in what we thought was his final season with the Buccaneers, he’s still Tom Brady. There’s a GOAT somewhere in there, still, right?
But let’s look specifically at what it would mean for three entities: The New England Patriots, the Kansas City Chiefs, and Tua Tagovailoa.
