What Tom Brady going to Dolphins would mean for the Patriots

While Mac Jones has been good at times, if Tom Brady wanted to come back and play for the team that he won six Super Bowls with, you can bet your top dollar they would let him… Probably.

There may have been some lingering tension between Brady, head coach Bill Belichick, and owner Robert Kraft, but if we know anything about this franchise we know they can put their feelings aside to win some football games.

But instead, Brady goes to the Dolphins, where he can get back in the division he’s most comfortable in, and torture the Patriots twice a season. That’s horrible for the Patriots, but it would surely answer the question of “Brady or Belichick?” once and for all.

It would be a proverbial middle finger to the entire New England organization for Tom to go down this route. Of all the teams to choose, he goes to the Fins?!

This ramification holds true for the Bills and Jets, too. His leaving the AFC East was a massive sigh of relief for everyone after the Patriots and Brady won the division 17 out of the 19 seasons he played in New England.
