March Madness Bracket Predictions – South Region Sweet 16

5 San Diego State vs. 1 Alabama

The Aztecs won two low-scoring games to get to the Sweet 16 but that formula won’t cut it against Alabama. There is simply too much firepower from the Crimson Tide, who can beat opponents in a variety of ways. San Diego State will attempt to limit possessions and slow the game to a crawl but Alabama still finds a way to win this game comfortably.

Pick: Alabama

15 Princeton vs. 6 Creighton

The Tigers are the story of this round as they look to become the second straight 15-seed to reach the Elite Eight after Saint Peter’s pulled off the feat last season. Unfortunately for Princeton, they are running into a team with legitimate Final Four upside in Creighton. The Bluejays’ barrage of 3-pointers shoots Princeton out of the bracket.

Pick: Creighton

March Madness Bracket Predictions – South Region Elite Eight

6 Creighton vs. 1 Alabama

This game will be a thriller as these two teams can score the basketball as well as anyone. Creighton could be a Final Four team in any other region but they simply don’t have enough depth to withstand Alabama’s onslaught. The Crimson Tide win a barnburner to reach the Final Four for the first time in program history.

Pick: Alabama
