22. James Conner, RB, Arizona Cardinals
Current Ranking: 22

James Conner is that running back that nobody really wants to draft because he’s not the hot name on the market, but he produces. He produces week in and week out, season in and season out. Since joining the Arizona Cardinals four seasons ago, he’s had at least eight total touchdowns (including one season with 18). That’s obviously not including this season, where he has three.

Conner hasn’t scored as much as other seasons, but his yardage is on pace for a career-high. He has 504 yards rushing (on pace for north of 1,200), and he has 139 receiving yards (which is just 26 yards away from last year’s season total). Conner has been incredible for the Arizona Cardinals offense, and again, he’s doing it incredibly quietly. There’s a chance the Conner owner in your league isn’t starting him because he’s not aware of this man’s consistency.

The 29-year-old is good for between 14 and 19 points this season. He’s not going to put up 35 points ever, but he will give you reliable production in the playoffs, barring an injury. The Cardinals are also figuring their offense out, but Conner is the constant. That won't change, and Kyler Murray will be the beneficiary.
