3 WNBA franchises that would be the best fit for Alissa Pili

Alissa Pili may not be getting the spotlight like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Cameron Brink, and Rickea Jackson, but there are plenty of WNBA teams that could use her.

2. Washington Mystics

The Washington Mystics had an eventful offseason as they lost Natasha Cloud to free agency, and Elena Delle Donne to personal matters. AP would be a great fit for the nation's capital because of her size and strength.

Last season, the Mystics struggled to rebound and finished 10th in the league. AP would be able to help this team improve on the glass with her strength and size allowing her to play either the 4 or the 5 in both small ball and conventional lineups. Pili can play positions 1 through 4 in the W if needed and she would be a complement to Ariel Atkins, and Shakira Austin who are considered the young core of the franchise.

The senior forward will help improve the Mystics field goal efficiency as she is currently shooting 55 percent from the floor while shooting 81.9 percent from the charity stripe. Washington currently has three picks in the 2024 draft and AP could be a viable option for any of their selections.
