The Chicago Bears head coaching search continues to roll on, but it appears that we could be closing in on a final decision. According to David Haugh of the Chicago Tribune, the coaching search is down to two final candidates that will be brought to Halas Hall for a second interview.

Who are the finalists in Chicago?

According to Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Chicago Bears head coaching search will come down to Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and Montreal Alouettes head coach Marc Trestman.

Haugh’s report indicated there are only two finalists, but there are also reports that Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians is a finalist for the position.

Chicago general manager Phil Emery has brought in over a dozen candidates for the interview process, so everyone has to be relieved that an end is finally in sight. The question is ‘which of the finalists will Emery prefer?’
