The Los Angeles Lakers are in the middle of one of their worst droughts in recent history. After setting the bar incredibly high in the offseason with the acquisitions of Dwight Howard and Steve Nash, the Lakers have dropped to 17-24 and have a lot of work to do before they can even consider making the playoffs as the Western Conference’s eighth seed.

The most recent loss came last night in Chicago against the Bulls. Afterwords, Bryant seemed dazed when he spoke to the media in the locker room and hours later posted a bizarre photo on Twitter of himself dressed in full winter coat and scarf, playing the piano.

The tweet was originally posted at 12:59am PST, meaning if Bryant was still in Chicago catching a flight back to LA, it was 3am CDT.

Not long after posting the tweet of himself playing the piano, Bryant posted another one of himself in the gym. This all begs the questions we’ve been asking ourselves for the last 15 years: does this guy ever sleep?

Maybe we can blame the Lakers woes on Bryant’s nocturnal habits, because something really bad is going wrong in Los Angeles and someone’s going to have to answer for it very soon.
