Syracuse Orange quarterback Ryan Nassib has been one of the standout performers of the 2013 Senior Bowl. Not only is Nassib making his impression on the NFL scouts in Mobile, Alabama, but his NFL draft stock is skyrocketing and there is belief that he could be selected in the first ten picks.

If Nassib is to be selected in the top half of the first-round, it makes sense for the Syracuse signal-caller to join his former college head coach, Doug Marrone, in Buffalo with the Bills.

Not only are draft analysts making this connection, but Nassib knows that it could be the best case scenario for his career.

“That would be a great situation, I love the city of Buffalo,” Nassib said. “I’m a Central New York guy, that type of weather, and going to Buffalo with all those Syracuse guys there, that would be a match made in heaven.”

Nassib would not only join his former head coach Doug Marrone in Buffalo, but he would also join his former Syracuse offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett with the Bills. It would be great for Nassib to have a head start knowing the offense and it would help him in the transition to the NFL.

In my previous mock draft, I had Nassib going to the Bills with their first-round pick and it is beginning to make a lot of sense.

If the Bills hope to land Nassib, they need to draft him with their first pick. If they do not, Nassib could be off the board before the Bills are back on the clock in the second-round.
