The Super Bowl is a great event for all sports fans and gamblers alike. During and before the game, bettors can place their wagers on your typicals bets — money line, spread, over/under, etc. Then, during the Super Bowl, there are some wacky and entertaining bets for those who are looking to add some extra fun to the game.

What are some of this year’s prop bets for Super Bowl XLVII?

You can start off with the national anthem. There are prop bets that cover Alicia Keys length of the anthem, whether she will omit a word or add to the lyrics and whether she will booed during the anthem. There is another entertainer involved in the prop bets — Beyonce, who will be performing the halftime show. The bets on Beyonce cover her hair being curly or crimped and whether she will be joined by her husband Jay-Z on stage.

There is another topic that is prominent in the bets as well — the Harbaugh’s.

The game has commonly be referred to as the Harbaugh Bowl or HarBowl. So the bettors want to know how many times the game will be referred to by those names. If you’re wandering, the over/under is set in 2 and a half — I think that’s an easy bet to take the over.

How about off-field troubles? At 5/1 odds you can bet on whether or not a San Francisco 49ers or Baltimore Ravens player will be arrested before the big game.

And, of course, you know the Ray Lewis speech has it’s own bet. How many times will he let his faith come through and mention “God?” Over/under on that bet is three.

As you can see, all of these prop bets can bring some added fun to your Super Bowl watching experience without making you nervous about the outcome of the game.
