When former Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone accepted the same position with the Buffalo Bills, it was immediately believed that he would bring his college quarterback Ryan Nassib along for the NFL ride.

Rumors swirling had Nassib as one of the hottest rising NFL Draft prospects, but the news making the rounds in NFL scout circles is that Nassib isn’t even the most highly touted signal-caller in Mobile. In fact, the Bills aren’t as high on Nassib as it was initially believed and there is no guarantee that the team will reunite him with Marrone.

Nassib is still considered a borderline first-round pick, just not the apple of Buffalo’s eye that many had thought.

There was some good news, however, from Senior Bowl week for Nassib. He reportedly interviewed really well and impressed the NFL teams.
