Seattle Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. Police responded to a call from a 26-year old woman who claimed to have been Hill’s girlfriend and claimed that he assaulted her several times. The woman also alleges that after Hill beat her “several times” he forced her to stay at his residence.

Hill was arrested and taken to Issaquah City Jail and booked on a count of third-degree assault and unlawful imprisonment.

From The Seattle Times:

"Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill was arrested on Tuesday by Issaquah Police on two counts of alleged domestic violence. The first count was fourth-degree assault, a gross misdemeanor, according to Washington State Patrol records, the second for unlawful imprisonment, a felony. Issaquah Police were at Hill’s house in the late afternoon on Tuesday, and there was a larger presence that included the Fire Department by about 8 p.m. KOMO TV was first to report the arrest."

This isn’t the first time Hill has been arrested for domestic abuse. Issaquah Police arrested him back in 2010, but the case was eventually resolved without a conviction. He’s also been arrested twice before in Georgia on suspicion of drugs but was not charged after passing a drug test.

Hill’s most recent run-in with the law isn’t going to help his football future, as he’s set to become a free agent this March.
