When Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo was ruled out for the season with a torn ACL, his roster spot on the Easter All-Star squad was opened. Many believed the spot would be filled by another point guard, Kyrie Irving, but with Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra leading the charge for the East, it looks like he has other plans.
Per ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, it looks like Irving will stay on the bench and Chris Bosh will get the start.
Erik Spoelstra clinched All-Star coaching spot today, making Chris Bosh a virtual lock to replace Rondo as a starter. LeBron to PG.

There are several reasons Spoelstra probably won't start Kyrie Irving. At end of day Heat have best record & have earned the spoils.

It’s an odd move, considering Irving is the best healthy point guard in the Eastern Conference.
Of course, there is the speculation that Spoelstra is doing everything in his power to keep Irving and LeBron from playing together. There have been rumors that LeBron could return to Cleveland in 2014 and Irving would be a big reason for the return home.
What do you think of Spoelstra choosing Bosh over Irving? Fair or foul?
