Former Oakland Raiders number one overall pick JaMarcus Russell is attempting a NFL comeback and hoping for that one final chance to resurrect his dreams of becoming a NFL star quarterback.

Russell is being mentored by former NFL quarterback Jeff Garcia and working out at the TEST Football Academy. When his workouts are complete near April, he plans to hold a Pro Day style workout for NFL teams. If it all goes according to plan, Russell will look impressive and he will get that last chance.

The former LSU star is currently still tipping the scales at more than 300-pounds, but he is dedicated to getting back on the field and has been working hard at the academy.

Bleacher Report has been catching up with Russell and is tracking his moves as he plans a return to glory. Today, their first video was released.
