There is no question that the Kansas City Chiefs are looking to add a quarterback before the start of next season and there have been a lot of potential signal-caller’s names that have been bounced around as ideas. Now, it appears that we have our first sign of interest from the Chiefs. Per USA Today, the Chiefs are interested in Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles.

Foles will be great for trade bait in Philadelphia after the restructuring of Michael Vick’s deal which kept him in town. Foles is not suited for new head coach Chip Kelly’s offense, so the team could move him and get something in return.

It is believed that Reid was very high on Foles’ future when he coached the young quarterback in Philadelphia. Now, he will have the opportunity to bring him along for the ride and develop Foles into the quarterback that he believes he can be. It makes perfect sense for both sides, especially the Chiefs who badly need to improve under center.

What do you think of the potential match? Should the Chiefs actively pursue Foles via trade or should they look at other options in free agency or the draft?
