The Ravens got their biggest offseason hurdle out of the way on Friday when they agreed to terms with Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco. The contract is huge, but the low 6.8 million cap hit leaves them plenty of room to make some moves.

Look for them to make a run at both Ed Reed and Dannell Ellerbe. Reed might not be worth much because of his age, and Ellerbe is reportedly asking for way more than he is worth, so they may not get either of them.

The Ravens aren’t generally super active in free agency, but SI’s Peter King has speculated that teams wont be very aggressive this year and that few, if any, mega deals will occur. lower prices across the board and the Ravens fairly large(compared to previous years) amount of cap space could make them a minor player for some of the guys just outside of the upper tier of free agents.

They have often been linked to Charles Woodson, and they attempted to trade for Osi Umenyiora a few years back, so they might try and use one or both of those players to replace free agents Ed Reed and Paul Kruger.
