Deion Sanders High School Yearbook Photo

Deion Sanders is all over your television sets as either a NFL analyst or a man known as Leon Sandcastle as he tries to make another run in the NFL — okay, that second part isn’t really true. It’s just for show. I hope you all know that, but the character of Mr. Sandcastle shows Deion trying to relive his younger days as one of the fastest men in football.

While Leon Sandcastle is a fictional look at a younger Prime, we’ve got a picture of the actual young Prime.

That’s right, a high school yearbook from North Fort Myers High School got passed around and this brilliant picture of Deion Sanders in his younger days was front and center.

Check out a young Prime next to a man with some fine looking specs:

As always, Deion is stylin’ and profilin’. I have to admit, that is one mighty fine tux. I have to imagine that bow tie is a clip on. The only disappointment is that Deion isn’t wearing some flashy studs on his ears.

Perhaps the most humorous part of the picture is that the high school yearbook misspelled his name, “Dion Sanders.” You can see the misspelling in the bottom right of the image. Not a good look to misspell the name of a future Hall of Famer, but hey, at least we are getting the last laugh.
