Rumors were swirling on Monday that paced ex-Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings with the Indianapolis Colts. While the rumors made sense, the Colts reportedly don’t feel the same way and the Indianapolis Star is reporting any interest in Jennings is not coming from within the Colts organization at this moment.

The Colts managed to get through the 2012 season with only one real receiving threat and he happened to be a guy just bursting onto the scene. Other than T.Y. Hilton, the Colts passing attack seemed to be more spread out that other offenses but that’s not because they’re loaded with weapons like Green Bay or Atlanta.

Indianapolis seems content with the offense though, and based on it’s 2012 performance, they really shouldn’t feel differently about it. Andrew Luck may do with what he had and it seemed to be more than enough to turn the Colts into a playoff a team a year after picking first overall in the NFL Draft. Still, the idea of adding a big name receiver is one that has to interest the Colts to some degree.

While they may be high on a free agent receiver, it appears as though it’s not Greg Jennings.
