Jacoby Jones Dancing With the Stars Performance Video: Week One

Our very own Josh Hill passed along the news earlier tonight that athletes Jacoby Jones and Aly Raisman stole the show on the season premiere of the new season of Dancing With the Stars, and we not have the proof. Jones, as you should know, is a member of the Baltimore Ravens and provided the team a major boost throughout the playoffs. Raisman was a member of the United States women’s gymnastics team and won a gold of her own at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Jones has shown off his dance skills in the endzone before, but now he is taking those talents to the dance floor.

Jones was partnered with professional dancer Karina Smirnoff (lucky man) and the duo performed the cha-cha. Unfortunately for Jones and Smirnoff, they got a late start to rehearsals because of Jones recovering from knee surgery. They still managed to get a solid 20 out of 30 from the judges.

Here is video of Jones’ first dance of the season:

What do you think, does Jones have what it takes to become the latest NFL player to win Dancing With the Stars?

Jacoby rocked it on DWTS and he just looked like he was having so much fun. His foot work really surprised me and it was actually really interesting to watch Karina with him. I was telling my co-workers in my office at DISH that sometimes the best dancers are the athletes and it looks like Jacoby is following in Emmitt Smith’s footsteps. This season is starting to look really promising. Dancing with the Stars comes on while I’m still at work but thanks to my DISH Hopper I know that all my favorite prime time shows on ABC will be waiting for me on my DVR when I get home.
