Wake Forest Demon Deacons Unveil New Helmet Designs

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons traditionally have one of the more basic and, I’m sorry, boring helmets in college football, but there is a chance that could be changing in the near future. On Saturday, the Wake Forest football recruiting office shared images of new helmets that could potentially be worn for the 2013-14 season.

The office did not confirm whether the new helmet designs would be used on the field by the team or if they were simply a recruiting tool, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that there are some genius designs.

Here are the three designs that were shown off:

Of course, there is a matte black helmet which seems to be all of the rage these days, along with the team’s traditional look. The most interesting and appealing new design is the white helmet that features the Demon logo head on the right side, with a black and gold “WF” on the left.
