We already know which teams everyone in the NFL will be playing for the 2013-14 regular season, but the dates of pivotal match ups and big games have yet to be announced. That will all change on April 16 whenever the NFL rolls out the upcoming schedule. The schedule will be dropped at 8:00 p.m. ET on the date. April 16 falls on a Tuesday, so circle the date on your calendar.

This nugget of information was passed along earlier on Monday afternoon by New England Patriots writer Jeff Howe:

Over the weekend, speculation began to build that the schedule would drop on April 16, but now we  have confirmation along with a time of the schedule release. We will immediately begin going over the schedule and recapping every team’s biggest match ups of the season (on paper) as soon as we get a clearer look at the new schedul.
