USC Trojans quarterback Matt Barkley is beginning to make the rounds and make his official visits around the league with the 2013 NFL Draft just around the corner. Barkley will begin his tour today, as he’s currently heading out to the East coast for visits with two AFC squads.

The Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns, who both pick in the top ten, are hosting Barkley this week.

The news came from none other than Matt Barkley himself:

The Bills will have to seriously consider Barkley at No. 8 if Geno Smith is off the board. For Cleveland, they would likely only make a run at Barkley if he began to fall later in the first round.

There are a lot of concerns about Barkley’s game, but it’s hard to imagine a scenario where he doesn’t land in the first round.

Only time will tell, and we will know for certain in just over two weeks.
