The first game of our Western Conference double header and the second game of a slate of NBA Playoff duals on Sunday features the Los Angeles Lakers trying to stay afloat against the San Antonio Spurs. Any other year and this is a premier series, but thanks to recent injuries in Los Angeles, this one might end up being about something more than guts and glory.

Kobe Bryant’s knee injury is the one and only headline coming into Game 1 of this series and despite everything else going on with these two teams, no one will be able to shake the fact that Kobe’s not out there. This probably won’t be an image we get used to soon, but it puts the Lakers in even hotter water than they were before.

Can Dwight Howard and Steve Nash boost the Lakers and what time do the Lakers and Spurs tip off? We’ve got all of the information you will need to know to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the action.
