The second game of the Western Conference double header on Sunday features last year’s runner-up champs, the Oklahoma City Thunder squaring off against the Houston Rockets. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are entering the third year of something special and we saw them taste glory last year, but fail to sustain it. One of the biggest reasons the team was successful was thanks to guard and Sixth Man of the Year, James Harden.
Now Harden plays for the Houston Rockets after a bizarre trade right before the start of the season landed him with his new team. Houston’s acquisition of Harden capped off an offseason where they not only reloaded in Free Agency, but stocked up on draft picks as well. From Jeremy Lin to Omer Asik and later Thomas Robinson, the Rockets did all they could to stack their roster with other team’s gems and so far the plan has worked.
How long will that plan last and what time do the Thunder and Rockets tip off? We’ve got all of the information you will need to know to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the action.
